It’s not unusual for people to feel abandoned by family, friends, the Church, and even God. People who are divorced and separated are not excommunicated. They are encouraged to attend Mass regularly and to receive the Sacraments. St. John the Baptist parish offers several ministries to people who are struggling with the pain of divorce: Onward, The Spirituality of Broken Relationships, Annulment Companions, and Banana Splits.
