St. John the Baptist Youth Ministry is open to all teens in the parish who are in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. It is an informal group of faith-filled teens who wish to journey with the Lord.

The organization is run by teens with adult advisors. There is a “City-Wide Young Adult Center" gathering place at 188 Chestnut St (Corner of McCollum) with lots of opportunities to share, discuss, and live faith. Activities include:
| The Diocesan Youth Convention, retreats, and special events. | |
| A mission trip to eastern Kentucky for a week in August. During the trip, high school students experience the life and work of a missionary. They assist the elderly, work in an adult day care center, experience the culture of Appalachia, discover the beauty of a simpler lifestyle, participate in prayer and sharing sessions, and still have time for fun and recreation. | |
| Participation in a week-long Group Workcamp with 400 teenagers and adults of different faiths from all over the country. They come together to make home repairs for elderly, low income and disabled residents. Participants grow in faith through meaningful service to others. | |
| Weekend home repair projects in the Lockport area. | |
| Socials, dances, and athletics | |
| Community service and fundraising events | |
| Worship and faith based discussion groups |
